Boarding Checklist
Please remember to bring with you....
✓ Your pet's current vaccination certificate
A valid, up-to-date vaccination certificate signed by a vet.
Please check it is up to date before your pet is due to stay as we cannot accept any pet that arrives without a valid vaccination, or those showing signs of contagious illness.
✓ Any prescription foods
If applicable
✓ Any medication
These should be clearly labelled with your pet's name and full administration instructions. Whilst we try our best to administer medication, in some circumstances this is not always possible. Please be aware that we will not be held responsible if we are unable to do so.
We recommend discussing kennel or cattery stays with your vet, particularly if your pet is elderly or has existing medical conditions.
✓ Flea, tick & worm treatment
Please ensure that your pet has had the relevant flea, tick & worm treatment within 21 days prior to them arriving with us. Any pet arriving with fleas will be treated and the owner charged a minimum fee of £50 to cover treatment, spraying of the pen upon departure and additional cleaning.

Shop bought treatments will not suffice and we highly recommend you access treatment through your vet to ensure effectiveness. A record of treatment should be provided in initial meeting.
✓ Something from home
To help your pet settle in we recommend you bring something with a smell of home on it, either a favourite blanket or a few toys.
Terms of Admission
At Old Flatts Farm Luxury Pet Retreat, your pet will receive the highest standard of care and attention. We require that all pets are accompanied by designated emergency contact details. These contacts must be authorised to act on your behalf and must have access to appropriate veterinary support if needed. Old Flatts will endeavour to contact owners in the first instance.

All pets boarding with us — whether for day care or overnight stays — are accepted entirely at the owner’s risk. Old Flatts Farm cannot accept responsibility for any issues that may arise, including but not limited to, stress-related conditions or health concerns arising from your pet’s stay.
In the event of an emergency, and where we are unable to contact your designated emergency contact or veterinary provider, we reserve the right to act in the best interests of your pet. This may include seeking urgent veterinary care to ensure your pet’s health and welfare. This is in accordance with the Veterinary Surgeon’s Act of 1966 – The Key Principles of First Aid.
Please note: If your pet shows any signs of contagious disease or illness they will not be admitted and boarding fees will not be refunded.
